Have reserved a session, click review/checkout - it says, here are your reserved sessions - but when I logout and then retrun to the scheduler, my reserved sessions have gone.
what am I doing wrong?

If I remember correctly, that wasn't the final step of your reservation. If you scroll down a bit from the page you mentioned, you'll find you have to check an agreement box and click the button at the bottom of the page to confirm.
