Good morning.
After setting up my pod, I found all S0s were down/down.
When I checked R7 I got the old:
Would you like to enter the initial configuration dialog? [yes/no]:
Although I probably could use the practice, starting a 4am session mapping frame relay is not my idea of precious lab time well spent.
Is there a copy of the frame switch config posted somewhere for cut and paste? I searched but only came up with Kaz's modified version.
Any assistance is appreciated.
Thank you.

| I'm hoping that this was a one-time problem. My ISP had some network problems last night and it looks like the Lab terminal server couldn't access the scheduling database until after the session began. This was April 9th at 4:00 right ? I also noticed your session didn't actually get set up until the database connection was restored at 4:24 . |

That explains why the telnet session dropped. I thought it was just putty being flaky. I logged in about 4:15 and went to make some coffee. When I sat down again at about 4:25 I was off line. I didn't actually get to R7 till about 4:50 or so.
Kind of hard troubleshoooting while comatose. I'd like to get some lab time during daylight hours, but the only slots that have been opening lately are in the maintenance window (12-6a).
I have the same hours (4-7:30 eastern) tomorrow morning. Do you know if your ISP will be doing maintenance tonight? If so, please let me know. I could use the sleep.
Thanks again.

Acutally it wasn't maintenance - A battery system failed and some equipment dropped. It was just lucky it wasn't during the EST day.
I'm hoping nothing happens tonight ! |
