Timezone Issue Resolved
Dec 27, 2003 Users in unusual Daylight Savings Time, or on Negative Latitudes would have had their timezone converted incorrectly over the past month or so. This ultimately resulted in users being sent the wrong session start times, and it appeared that when your session began, you couldn't log in. This problem has now been resolved and you should see your correct time displayed on the Schedule. Sorry for any trouble this caused!

Nov 4, 2003 - Power consumption has become expensive, so some ads have been placed throughout the site to help offset the growing expense of running Free-Labs.com.
New Efficiency Measures
Oct 12, 2003 - In an effort to resolve the problem of people booking sessions and not using them we will be implementing some to measures to reduce waste. Effective immediately, users will be sent an email 48 hours before their session occurs requiring them to log on to the website and confirm their session. If the user fails to do this, the session will be cancelled within 24 hours. In addition to this, within the next few weeks we will be adding the following measures: 1) Counting minutes logged in per user 2) Emailing users with high minutes about recently cancelled or unconfirmed sessions 3) Automatically cancelling sessions when noone logs in to the terminal server. Let us know what you think about these new measures. Please understand that we had to do something because so many lab hours are going unused. Thanks for your support!
Power Outage
Sep 29, 2003 - We're extremely sorry! A power outage affected our area and Free-labs.com was down for about 4 hours. Let us know if there is anything we can do to make it up to you!
Booked Solid
Sep 23, 2003 - It's difficult to get lab time, as we are booked many weeks in advance. One emerging problem is that some people are booking sessions and not using much (if any) of the time. This has prompted us to brainstorm for ways of efficiently utilizing available lab time.
Free-Labs.com opens!
Sep 10, 2003 - Free-Labs.com is up and operating! It has been many months in development and we hope you enjoy it!
